I think she showed way more emotion and personality the first time. She had this emotionless bliss to her at times that we can excuse on part of the phoenix itself.
A lot of the body language, dialogue, etc was not delivered well. Not just her but everyone.
It feels like the actors just weren't into it this time around.
If you watched Apocalypse or DOFP it still seems like a universe breaking sequel.
Think Highlander 2 or Star Wars prequels or something.

the entire movie. Not remotely "good acting" on her part. Now, the writers made her extremely limited in what she could do with the role but thats for good reason, because she's not a good actor. And you saying she had a good performance is exactly why the writers/director put such a heavy wet blanket on her. As to not take away from the movie. If you think she did good, thats a credit to the director, not her.

I just watched it. It wasn't was bad as people are making out and special effects were not to bad in parts. 6/10.

.Watched it.Not as bad as I thought I'd be but not good either. Mags & Beast on some kill Jean then get arrested & 20 minutes later on some save Jean? All the characters motivation was stupid as fukk.
Nightcrawler bothers me the most, dude random teleporting without knowing where he's going or what he might teleport into, he don't do that. I forgot Quicksilver was even in this shyt. Mystique, just no. The bad guys being random nobody's.

It’s been 20 years. It’s a miracle people still had some interest over this long of a period
