This was a better Captain Marvel movie than Captain Marvel.

Man, get the entire fukk out of here.
I just finished this movie, and there's no fukking reason this movie should've been made.
In X-Men Apocalypse, you see a pretty strong hint of Jean having the Phoenix Force , but in this movie she only shows it after she gets it in space...
Magneto had a whole island of mutants he could've chosen to go get Jean, so he picks the world's most average telepath and a guy who can control his dreadlocks AND THAT'S IT?
The aliens...who are they, what can they do...I guess major important shyt like that doesn't matter.
Government still bringing a shyt ton of metal anytime they go anywhere near Magneto. Cool.
Nightcrawlers beserker rage.
Quicksilver having 2 scenes and that's it.
And replaying the same fukking "Jean Grey goes home and kills an x man" that was in X3.

I'm so glad I didn't pay to see this garbage. I wanted to walk out of my own house towards the end.

...just finished the rest...mediocre story...mediocre casting...mediocre special effects...mediocre movie...5 out of 10
when marvel studios starts working on this hopefully they trash everyone except the actors who play prof. x and magneto...what’s cool is their age won’t matter...it might even benefit them to look a little older on screen...the dark phoenix saga if done right—jeezus christ

it’s not a horrible watch...just supremely average...if done right this storyline could damn near rival the infinity gauntlet...marvel studios has to get the regular movie audience to fall in love w/ the mutants/x-men tho
