5.) if you have netflix, check out the cartoon wolverine and the x-men. it explains the plot more thoroughly. whatever they did with the time stream in days of future past, it inadvertently propelled apocalypse into the spot he's in
yea i was certain darwin died, then i read a bunch of fan theories that leads me to believe he can still be alive

i'm glad theyre bringing back nightcrawler. the cold open in x2 iss still the illest scene in the franchise.

Honestly, I'm not so sure Gambit really needs more than a couple of scenes in this flick. We'll have plenty of time to get to know more about him in his own movie. Storm, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and Jean need to get their shine first.
Edit: if anyone, archangel would be great in this movie so we could see how Warren got his metal wings... Rogue is another classic character long overdue for some shine with her ms. Marvel power set.

The problem with them is that since DOFP didn't completely reboot the timeline. The events of X-Men 1-3 still somewhat more or less happened. We saw young Rogue in at the ending scene of DOFP, which I believe is set in the year 2020, so Rogue and Warren still won't be born yet in 1985 which is when X-Men: Apocalypse will be set

Didn't know this--- that's actually a good point. I remember hearing that Mystique's screwing with the timeline altered the ages of certain characters so I didn't know if they were willing to say "screw it" and introduce certain characters earlier. I know Colossus probably won't be showing up until later, among other characters.

Colossus is in Deadpool and now Nightcrawler is back. Not a huge Gambit fan but he's getting a damn film.
