They also reported 3.5 million viewers on Peacock. I don't have Peacock, do they have live shows besides PPVs or whatever they call them now on there?

If they do I wonder what RAW & SD's true numbers are
Your last sentence is a really good question. Id love to see the breakdown on peacock viewership as it tells a more accurate tale of how in demand their modern content is vs the classic.

Lol we suckin dikk now?

Lmao okay mane, you got it. You the expert.
Never said I was an expert. I said I know about sales trends because its literally my job in an exponentially larger company than Vince's.

I gave my opinion based on what I know. You came in butthurt with a smart ass comment when you really could have left it alone. For someone that "doesnt cape", you do a lot of it.

I posted that report in RR thread that it was the 2nd highest gate in Royal Rumble history plus crazy profits off Bad Bunny, Rhonda, Lesnar, Roman merch in just that one night. Most that went to the show loved it except the melting sign lol, we on the internet acting like it was the worst event ever.

It's almost like normal, adjusted human beings just want to have a good time with their families and don't even know wtf a Meltzer, Bix, or demo is or that "Fed is bad". shyt is like an undiscovered world lol
Its two different expectations though.
If you go the the live show than the main thing you care about is the spectacle of it all but if you are watching it on TV then you are watching a TV show and the WWE TV show is not as entertaining as the WWE live event.

You missed the point…

they went and got a billion dollar deal, and are reporting a billion dollar return as a result…

And there’s people trying to paint that negatively like it should be more…

A wrestling company, in 2022, just reported a BILLION dollars… and it’s nikkas in here like “well that billion dollar deal they got is holding them up”… nikka, no shyt. It’s a billion dollar deal

:mjlol:

Is another wrestling company gonna report similar results? Did I miss something?

Nice try with the spin from the post I quoted you on. You said "Like TV Companies are giving out Billion Dollar Deals". It's been happening for more than a decade, so it's not at all surprising that they are getting those deals. Should have been more specific and talk about it being revenue since those Billion Dollar deals are spread out over several years.

Also, here's a better breakdown of that revenue from this article

WWE generated one billion dollars in revenue for the first time ever

Of that $936 Million in Media Revenue, 84% came from TV rights fees and Peacock.

Makes sense except most aren't going to buy tickets and not like watching the shows at home. Folks like @Larry Legend that will go to live shows even when they don't like watching for free as part of a cable package really don't exist off the internet.

I'd imagine your average person at a WWE live event watch weekly with their family and like it enough to circle a date and bring everyone.

Laughing at you for being so invested in these nikkas downfall isn’t passive aggression. Nothing passive about it. I’m outward and openly making fun of you.

But I’m the female :mjlol:

Looks like the only live content they have are the "premium experiences" (:mjlol:btw) so that answers that

But I'd imagine even if they did stream weekly shows live that Attitude/RA era content would still top, especially with all the docs they've created

Yes you are. And illiterate too. Never said anything about their downfall I spike about projections to the money being made on the current product YOU claim is trash. But I get it. It bothers you when someone doesnt fall in line with what you want to hear. Its ok. You clearly have some emotion behind this. Itll be ok. Theyll still be around for years at worst. No more tears

Thats the part that puzzles me and these other dudes dont get. They sold the WHOLE library to peacock here. The issue is as tv and media changes the golden era of WWE wont be as attractive to the younger fanbase which have begun to tune out. So where does the revenue come from going forward. Its not a sustainable business model and if they arent selling then once Nick Khan sees the money drying up he will dip and then they are really up shyts creek. This legit happens all the time.
