It’s sad what happened to Ol dirty. Why was the police targeting him like that.

Once he got out of jail nobody was there for him genuinely

You know he was on drugs heavy or just in bad health but everyone was out to make money

Seems like all parties let it happen except Rza.
I mean ODB may have had some mental issues as well.

But you can't put total blame on the wu tang members...

I don't even think they knew how to help him.

Plus ODB was problematic during the early period..dirt mcgrit used to not show up at show's with the wu tang, he would go to small shytty clubs and perform a set for like 8 or 10 grand.

Yea I just feel like the people around him were using him and maybe not concerned with his health

I think he had big start potential still coming out of Jail but they rushed him back into things

I think he even had a reality show or something at the time.

But it’s just sad he’s the only one who died

Them Lo Lifes...
Divine was taking his obligatory 20% and muthafuggas was PISSED!

But them niccas talking about its about "family" and "brotherhood" yet ostracizing Divine because theyre upset over the money.

Inspect Deck was the actual threat of the crew.:leon:

They way Rza was looking when they was talking about Cilvaringz and the album.

U God son repeating "ooooooooooooh" after Rza gives him a shout on tv.

All the different relationships. From U God and Meth being best buddies, to Gza Rza And ODB being cousins and the obvious Ghost and Rae.

Masta Killa not really having presence within the WU, but stilling giving him is relevent shine on the doc.

And then on the last episode, I realized they are basically watching the same doc as us, except with their reactions and commentary added in for production value.

One thing they haven't touch on yet, is that Wu-Tang productions was a very unique situation. It was basically, everyone making money off anything W, kicking up like 20% to the company, so everyone ate. This allowed for those waiting for their albums, to still eat. Endorsements were the entire clan. They got paid for albums they weren't even on. But of course in the long run, people would feel some type of way about it.

I don't thin RZA did anything bad. Why wouldn't he have a 50/50 production deal with each member? That's industry standard. It's not like he owns their publishing, or they don't get royalties. And after 25 years, the only person that has said anything about being owed royalties is True Master.

Didn't Rza get sued by several of them for royalties owed?

Naw. Ghost sued for the 50/50 spit production split. Mostly for songs that RZA was also an artist on. Still surprised RZA lost that.

U--God sued a couple of times, once was an admitted publicity stunt, the more recently, we have no idea why.

None of the others have sued. Rae says he doesn't think he was robbed, and the rest don't mention their finances at all.

loved the way scenes were filmed in the cinema, they seemed more honest / vulnerable than the usual rappa rahrah and the fact they were all together had to watch what they say as to not get into arguments

overall dope shyt

what do you mean every year?

In the doc Divine said he hasnt seen them in years.
I wonder if it's because they worked with rza and seen what he does, touring, hours in the studio...that they respect him more than divine.

I don't think they appreciate diving setting meetings, connections, behind the scenes shyt so they see him as a thief :patrice:
