Its market capitalization and it sucks. bottom line. and youre right, a liquor store, fast food joint or beauty products store will swoop in. Sucks because a healthy portion of our people crave this stuff and dump tons of $$$$ on it. Bugged out shyt is that we could permanently cripple all of these industries by simply avoiding them, forcing them to pack up and leave. You can buy your own burger meat from somewhere else (a supermarket) and have your kids eating at a manageable pace. You can buy your alcohol from a wholesaler instead of these liquor spot that are happy to have the fukkery pop off outside of their stores. And if folks were on that natural wave, these beauty shops would implode on themselves because they dont sell the products that natural hair sistas (and brothers) use on the regular, besides maybe a wide-toothed comb.

Yea all of that is true but fact of the matter is that the masses would rather feed footlocker and wait in line overnight for a $150 pair of Jordan's and be broke than feed the fam $150 worth of groceries or school supplies so until .. We rejected all the black people and groups in the 50's and 60's that told us to do this. They either were too radical, to progressive, or too Muslim for us to take seriously.

So we are currently in a permanent cycle.
