i'm dominican, and i consider myself black...although a lot of my family doesn't because they're lighter with diff. features than i have on my mom's side...which is the only side i really speak to like that. thankfully, i don't have any of the "self-hating" kind in my fam, but you can say that about all latin american countries where there's a big mix in appearance.
