Correct, but they’ve kind of went all in on the MCU to help keep the company afloat with Disney+ being a losing money venture, so at some point they will have to hit the panic button.

Their last 4 movies make 850 million, 760 million, 950 million, and 1.9 billion. They doing ok.

If anyone, including Disney, expected every movie to hit 1.5 billion then they were fools.

A lot of people were upset with "Wakanda Forever" because they saw it as the last straw of MCU movies, and since it wasn't as good as the first one, a lot of people mentally tapped out altogether. They skipped the 3rd Ant Man movie because of that.
