OP is being disingenuous with showing a below average chick and using her as the face of a term she's added a negative connotation to.

That same women who hate a "pick me" will in turn praise and lust after the male equivalent which is a staunch male feminist.

Factz.....

And them LSA broads call any Black woman who is not jaded in regards to Black men.."Pick me's." It's funny though....Coli women like @Elle Driver @GoldCoastSaint and @wickedsm would most definitely be labeled that on our sister site..But all of these particular ladies I just named got one significant thing in common that the women who use this kind of language typically don't....Marriage, a supportive husband, and children. There is obvious pandering that goes on...on both sides of the gender spectrum but, the phrase is often misused. :yeshrug:

Like what? I'm intrigued.
"a trained mouthpiece for repeating the same ish she hears some Black men say about Black women."

That "some black men" stuff will get you a side eye from some of these women. Saying "some" in their eyes makes it seem like you're taking up for ALL black men and thus trying to lessen the blow of black male patriarchy and it's effects on Black men and women as a whole. Even though you think using "some" is perfectly fine and normal. They'd see that as you taking up for BM, and being labeled a "Pick Me".

So you're basically asking if a man would like to date a submissive woman who panders to him....? :gucci:

That meme is looking more and more accurate

I understand - but I think that's what a lot of men think. Black women know "some" is key - because that's the truth. It's truly some.

Just like if a man thinks "most" BW do this or that - I know something is off there. So if a Black woman is talking like most BM do this or that - her and her opinions become mute and I don't entertain her.

"typically" - does not mean always. But, it's usually true in the cases I have seen. It can be different for different people - that is why I said "typically.'

Bias - against what? Weight?

I totally agree with your second paragraph.

Thanks!
There literally are branches of feminism that encourage being overweight (body positivity) but if I were to say 'feminists are typically overweight and only moderately attractive', i think you'll be smart enough to spot my anti-feminist bias.

You seem to have a bias against the opinions 'pick mes' have but perhaps I'm wrong. I don't want this thread or discussion to get derailed by ad hominems.

I respect your opinion. We will agree to disagree.

The Real Definition or MY Definition of a "Pick Me:"
- a black woman or woman who wants a man so bad ; or is invested in keeping her man from stepping out - due to her "basic" homely status. A chosen "Pick Me" lives in fear that her man/husband and relationship can be taken away at any time - more so than the average woman.
Just because you don't think she looks good doesn't mean her HUSBAND feels the same way?

I don't see why this particular woman will have to pander to her husband hon.

The meme where it said black men only slang dikk not date is such a disgusting meme and I don't think she said anything wrong.

The same women that have 100 items for a man brings absolutely shyt to the table and usually are bum bytches. My city full of women she described.

I see nothing in your OP that would make this woman your definition of a pick me. And I agree with her 1,000% and from my post history nikkas already know I don't pander to they asses.

You're right. I was wrong - I shouldn't have said "typically" - I genuine thank you for bringing that to my attention.

I don't have a bias against them. I'm working on it...maybe I need to interview one. I need to understand them.

Never heard of this term til reading this thread. Im not convinced there are a lot of these kind of women out in the real world. Maybe uber religious women? I see a lot of them quoting bible quotes and talk about being submissive to their husbands and tend not to have much substance beyond their religious zeolotry and catering to their men.:yeshrug:

The video in the OP doesnt seem like what I gather a "pick-me" to be.

A pick me is a female that doesn't believe in constantly shytting on men and goes against the girl code.

I didn't say "she" didn't look good - but definitely! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. He better find her attractive.

She is pandering and repeating generalizations about BW. I live in Atlanta and my city maybe full of them - but I wouldn't know - that isn't my circle, it isn't what I surround myself around or anyone I know. It's Internet life. So, I am not cool with another woman saying that like it is.

I have never seen the "slanging meme" - but do you feel it's ok for her to go on Facebook and make the comments and generalizations about Black women don't do this or that. Based off a few responses or her Facebook feed. Nah - I can't get behind that either.

We will have to agree to disagree - IMO and my personal definition - she would be one - but I understand if you don't see her as one.
