TSC basically said they would rather be in developmental than on the actual roster making real money
Nah I agree that's why James Storm stayed with TNA instead of going to NXTYou can make real money in the indies with less expenses, less injuries, less work schedule
Its a different time breh..... Being a midcarder in the E is like being an NBA allstar in on a garbage team.... just wasting they prime life away
Lets see in.... WWE;
Yes you may make $500k (which may be BS but cats love to claim everyone in the E is rich..... but reality is.... thats really not the case).... lets be real and drop that down to say $350k. Ok..... so thats gonna be taxed..... maybe pull in like $280k.
Ok since they work like 320 days a year
Then lets take in travel..... between rental cars and planes they probably spend about like $60k-$80k a year (no folks.... Vince aint paying that travel fee for all his people).
Then you got hotels....... I'm sure "the boys" typically all stay in the same place and not everyone is spread out so possibly another $40k-$65k.
Then food, supplements, and drinks (cuz you know they consume alot of alcohol)....... possibly another $15k-$35k (bu bu bu bu but catering)
So lets tally that up right now..... we looking at $115k-$180k
Ok what else we got.... personal medical expenses (come on brehs.... Vince and paying for everything) thats probably not that expensive..... $2k-$5k
Hmmmmm what else? What else?
Lets take a look at TNA now;
No most guys arent WWE Faux millionaires making what they make.
But they also dont have no where near the same expenses and also arent working anywhere as many dates.... lets say they work 90-130 days a year.
Lets say they make $70k-$350k
Lets go with the timeframe they were in Orlando.
Ok so now these cats only travel to Orlando and do 3-4 taped shows in like 1-3 days.
They probably taking shuttles, they staying less days in hotels, less miles and usage of rental cars, smaller food budgets, less tax.
I would be surprised if these cats total expenses is even $30k
So now I work 320 or more days a year and only pull in $100k-$165k in one company.
And in another, I can work 90-130 days and make say $50k-$280k.......
Hmmmmmmn.......
I know cats making $40k a year and working 330 days a year.
Then we got cats on here who love to clown TNA that work the same typical 330 a year and make like $24k-$33k
Not trynna throw shots.... but I think cats should've BEEEEEEN realize that now everything is as it always seems in the E when we have on file;
-DB taking his wife out to buy used appliances and breaking on her when she's out with her sister/fam and takes up the bill on average priced restaurants
-Jay Uso and his wife the big booty black chick living in a one bedroom apt (when they have company the guest have to sleep on the couch)
-Nattie and her husband living in an average middle class house.
Not everyone banking in the E like Cena
But granted, this could be by their own choice...
look at a Marshawn Lynch who made a shytload of money in the NFL and didn't blow thru it. Sure, he could've spent it and bought all kinda high-priced shyt, but instead he held on to damn near all of his money.
Then when you think of WWE wrestlers who travel all the time, these people ain't even home most of the year... whether they want a big ass house and 4 cars is purely an option. It ain't like they're spending lots of time there. Bryan seems like a simple life kinda dude anyway. Probably got basic cable Lesnar makes a mil and lives on a got-damn farm.
Yeah that sounds good buuuuut he didn't factor in house show bonuses, merchandise bonuses, video game bonuses, WM Bonus, etc.@Bryan Danielson did an awesome tally on the Spin thread.

@Bryan Danielson
Brock probably got the best deal ever in the E
I feel what you're saying about Lynch and that is an EXCELLENT point.
But in the end at worst their travel is only 8 times a year in comparison.... not to mention they do get paid travel and practically anything they need for free and many other thing they want for free as well. They get outside endorsements... most cases bigger than their salary, and they get stipends when they do travel (which I didnt even know till recently when I was listening to an ESPN radio show and a former player mentioned it and how cheap he was.... he'd never spend that and just eat catering and stay in the hotel on trips)
Theres more ways to save money in the NFL than in the WWE
Last year?All except for the WM bonus..... I did factor that in
But if we still talking midcarders and lower carders..... whens the last times a cat like Fandango, Tyson Kidd, RTruth, or Adam Rose been been on WMania?
And granted that there probably are some of the other bonuses but I'm sure they are nothing in comparison to say the top 4 main eventers
Last year?
And even though it's nothing compare to the main event guys, it's still more than any bonus TNA could/would give. They don't even do PPV or live events
