Would you have ever seen a day where McDonalds would be struggling to HEALTHIER brands?

sounds like Harris teeter prepared foods if ya up on that.

but i gotcha...I only been in a whole food a couple of times as it is usually out of my way.
It's exactly like that. I use to go to Harris teeter all the time when I lived in NC, they had this special buy 10 subs and get the 11th one free or something like that, the food was just so much better. I constantly find myself eating in the grocery store's prepared food section right before I go shopping for my weekly groceries ( I usually shop when I'm hungry).

At the beginning of mean streets
I'd rather eat at the whole foods hot bar or any grocery store's prepared food section. Most of the counter arguments to McDonald's that you listed (like subway, chipotle, etc.) aren't that much better. You end up paying more but it's definitely better for you...

Whole foods la carte :banderas:

When I discovered the gem that was spicey tempeh salad. I got them every day after work until they stopped bringin them out. :mjcry:

But then I found the recipe :ehh:

lol mcdonalds isn't losing market share to healthier brands, they're losing market share to other burger chains with better reputations whether well deserved or not.

And even with the small dip in income they're going through they're still wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of everybody else.

People aren't really eating healthier, just getting a little more bougie. Yeah you not fukking with the double quarter pounder at McDonald's, but you'll cop the double at shake shack because it's "gourmet":stopitslime:
Exactly.

The prices may change but the flab remains :flabbynsick:

i can live with that though....it's them food snobs that like obscure mom and pop and say they can make everything better at home that pisses me off. i'm just trying to drink and get full on some food pretty much anywhere and if the price is right i will go there more.

like some people will just not go to ihop all you can eat pancakes and will claim some mom and pop has got to have the best....that drives me up the wall!

Yup. I predicted this 3 years ago. With the whole health wave going on i knew people would be looking for quick healthy options.

Imo theres still no number one contender though. Somebody needs to take things a step further and basically create a whole foods version of mcdonalds. Fast, inexpensive, tasty food, thats also organic and healthy. Within ten years they could literally own the game. I was thinking about doing it but food service takes too much effort to get off the ground.

Lol at Chipotle being healthy.

Chicken burrito and chips = 1000-plus calories
Choices my brother. First of all. That big ass. Burrito is like 2 servings of what you get at Mcd. You can't split that for two meals.

Secondly , at chipotle you can't build a bowl with lettuce, corn, onions chicken and pico de gallo. With fresh ingredients and that chicken is recognizeable unlike that mytrry shyt at MCD

Somebody needs to get these nikkas out the paint. They're basically holding society back. They've made an empire of feeding people the lowest quality food possible. fukk em
