Ive said it before but Mcdonalds beef is good. I work at the facility that produces the patties for all mcdonalds on the west coast. The way they cook it is what makes it shytty. If you get fresh mcdonalds meat its no different then a package of ground beef from your store.
Have you been in the slaughter houses? Have you seen the farms where the cows, deer , goat , pig live? I'm just asking because if you have you'd know how unsanitary these places are. A lot of times these animals leave remains in their intestine and it's not always removed. The Foods These Animals are fed and not normally what they'd eat regularly in nature. You are what you eat. These animals eat synthetic added ingredients in soil and even corn, which allows them to grow muscles that they're body don't require, leading to internal problems and diseases, which you ultimately eat.

Yeah we do the whole process where i work. The company i work for is the largest private company in the u.s. it has a brand and reputation to maintain. I cant vouch for other companies but i know how strict our company is. We have standards that are stricter then usda enforces. For our company its more about branding and integrity. i cant speak for what joe cattlerancher feeds his live stock but i know the whole slaughter process from treating them humanely till they leave the back door. Also mcdonalds audits us all the time to make sure we are doing the right thing as well. They are our strictest customer. Followed by wal mart.

Ok, I was going to say the USDA are very what I consider inconsistent and should be a lot more strict. Either way unless I'm growing it, I'm always gonna be suspicious Of what others have to offer. Corporation have to make money. They're going to going quantity over quality every time. The production rate has to march with the demand. That double cheese burger ain't coming from the healthiest of animal, not even the best part. Bones, blood, gut etc gets grinder up and turned into patties. If your company is who you say they're then I salute them but me personally I watch what I put in my body. There was a point where Food Corporations fought in court to NOT have ingredients labels on their product. Think about that

Haven't fukked with McDonald's since high school outside of they grilled snack wraps. But it's Def the prices.

Remember real double cheese burgers for 99 cent? I use to leave practice and Get 5 for 545.

Taco bell, use to have chicken burritos for 89 fukking cent. Them shyts almost double the price now. And the quality has arguably waned some.

shyts just not worth it.

the reason mcdonalds is struggling is their prices

up here in canada a extra value meal almost reaches ten bucks

i can head to swiss chalet and get a quarter chicken with fries for that price

let me see a big mac and fries and a drink for like nearly ten

or a quarter chicken with fries :noah:

lower the prices and illbe back

no doubt. when I was in college in the late 90s/early 00's they had a meal with two big macs, a fry and a pop for $4. imagine what that'd cost now.

If the fast food joints returned to end of the 90s prices all of this would be a moot point. The fast food prices are now at the level of some of these other joints and folks are saying that if they are gonna spend such and such amount of dollars they might as well eat at such and such restaurant. Business matters.

no doubt. I'm not paying sit down restaurant prices for fast food. my family rarely ever eats fast food anymore cuz the prices have gone thru the roof

Yep fast food has gotten to be ridiculously expensive. It will be the death of the chains.

yup same shyt I said as well

it's only Mcdonalds hurting, lol. Burger king and wendys are thriving!

the burger king by my house ain't never crowded. and we don't have many wendy's here, but the one we did have got torn down for renovations in the summer, and they JUST now started building the frame for the new one.

define "struggling". McD's are still crowded everywhere you go. It's just that ppl now have more options.

Chick fil a, and others provide NEAR sit-down quality meals quickly and for teh same price or cheaper than McD's.

Fast food used to be considered burgers and fries primarily. Now you have more options.

Plus it's a different generation. Burger King, McD's etc used to be good food back in the 60's/70s, then they started using chemicals to make their food....but they survived based on their rep for a long time

man when I was in college, we had a Wendy's in the OU student union.

99 cent Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, 99 cent 5-pc nugget, and 99-cent fries. Used to be fun to get outta class and go eat lunch there.

Those were the days. Now Jr Bacon cheeserburger is like $1.80.

Exactly thats the reason why the McD's is losing. Not only does the Food suck, but so does the prices now.

The pricces do not account for how wack the food is, and how bad you feel about eating it.

Oh i dont blame you for being cautious. Not enough people think that way. I am not this pro company guy either. I base my thoughts on experiences. Sure production is the ultimate factor and at the end of the day people like you and i work at these type of places. But the company i work for is strict down to the hiring process. We do strict background checks. My wife is a teacher and we are stricter then some schools shes worked at. Im not saying nothing bad has ever happened at our facility. shyt slips through the cracks sometimes but there are policies and procedures in place to prevent that. At the end of the day they are trying to maintain a good name in the publics eye more then anything. We regulate ourselves so much many people wonder how we get shyt done. Ive worked in this type industry for a long time and ive seen shortcuts that other companies take so i understand your hesitation. It happens. But mcdonalds is far from the problem. Theyre actually a leader in doing the right thing. Which costs money and could be a bigger reason the profit margins arent as good.
