Lol what? Why would they need to do that? The league was fine in the 2000s up until 2015I also think a 5 second dribble rule like the old college one, will stop all this iso and force players to move the ball.

So we agree that the main problem is the Kerr merging of D'antony and Pop's system. We got to find a way of restricting 1-4 free flow offense in the first 8 minutes of each quarter no 1-4 and 5 second dribble to move the ball around.Lol what? Why would they need to do that? No, the league doesnβt need a dumbass 5 second dribble rule. Itβs never needed that, that would limit your best players, nobody is calling for all that. Just literally bring back hand checking, and eliminate the landing space bs, guys have no choice but to just give up shots rnSo we agree that the main problem is the Kerr merging of D'antony and Pop's system. No gimmick fixing this trash

Pick-up games don't have no clockTargeted score is more bat/racquet and ball games. + they also have unlimited clock to complete the match.
Volleyball is an exception. Nearly all the other ball sports (Football both Rugby Basketball Water Polo etc) have a clock.
But the Play-In Tournament has actually helped the quality of play. Before the tournament, there were way more games in March and April that teams did not care anything about. That hasn't been the case since this has been implemented outside of teams like Detroit (last year) and a team like Washington that is just garbage and just not good enough to compete at all.Play in tournament should be scrapped. I'd like to see it go down to 6 teams per conference make the playoff(that's never happening) and 55-60 games a season(also never happening). As we can see, not an easy fix.

Just bring back hand checking. That simple.
I was pointing out that a lot of basketball isn't played with a running clock. Removing the game clock is one thing, the shotclock is still there. The game would still be basketball without a game clock... also, we literally just saw MLB add a pitching clock to the sport.I thought this was suppose to be a serious thread.
True, I don't like the idea of games ending on FTs, just like I don't necessarily like when NFL games end on chip in FGs after 1 team runs the clock all the way down. Nothing is perfect.football is the only sport where fans don't mind if the games took longer.
I hate the Elam ending as a thing for NBA games. That's just a rule for people who think a game winner in every game will hit the same as organic ones.
Also, that will become the gayest thing for ones when games end on free throws.

NBA did this in All-Star games already, this is a serious thread tho.
