would it be a stretch to say despite AEW’s “huge” acquisitions, their momentum is waning??

Son, it is nuts

I literally have to begin any AEW criticism with RESTATING how trash WWE is currently just to let nikkas know I come in peace

:deadmanny:

And they still Ignore all that and attack you for being a mark magat or whatever just for not suckin AEW dikk nonstop

Like damn g, y’all gotta relax sometimes

Breh I barely even show up on Raw/Smackdown threads because I know them shyts is garbage.

Hell I see PPVs for the Tribal Chief.

If anything I'm Puro gang and even that shyt is a struggle in 2021. I swear if you even mention a slight fukk up with the Dub, all of the sudden folks are haters. Almost as if folks are forcing themselves to watch the product and having to unnaturally root for a promotion that is no different from what MLW was doing before Tony bought out half the roster.

:mjgrin:Now we resort to name calling:wow:

Its like clockwork and almost as if its a bit of fear that maybe what people are saying is actually somewhat true. I noticed this even during the TNA years that fans who don't agree with the alternative are either the following:

  • WWE lovers
  • Retards
  • Marks
  • Smarks
  • etc
Yet, folks like me and some others are just stating what any other folk on Twitter would say. Yet, here we are where we will go back and forth. I will continue to say my piece, you will continues to resort to name calling and frustration, and we will be cool when I catch the next Dynamite because this is what wrestling fans do:wow:

Like I said, you can ignore me but I'm not going no where. I say my shyt got told to drink bleach, and will continue to speak my mind because wrestling is not that damn serious.

So go on about us "weirdos" :banderas:
Only reason I called you a weirdo is because whenever I get into it with a poster they always bring up me being “mad.” I’m a confrontational, aggressive person when I want to be (both online and real life). Y’all ain’t used to it and assume someone is “mad” because they disagree with you. Like, do you even know what a debate is? :dwillhuh:

It’s not hard to tell the difference between a “heated” debate and someone actually mad. :francis:

Same here dude. Look, I don't hate the Dub...I actually want them to succeed. Hell, yall know I stan for Black, Hobbs, Christian, Cowboy, and the fukking Caveman. Plus I show up during Dynamite when I actually have the urge to watch it.

Folks just seeing a different perspective to AEW from improvement needs to downright sucks. Me on the other hand, I want a alternative and willing to follow the product once I am out of the States.

Bottom line, I'm not the enemy on these parts, but folks like myself do have opinions about the product. Its better constructive and wanting better things for investments like Punk, Bryan, and etc vs folks to blindly watch the shyt while these same exact wrestlers are just collecting a payday.

This is mark shyt, dude. AEW is doing more positive than negative. It’ll never be perfect and it’s not gonna go the way you want.

“I want this feud…”

“I know what’s best for so and so…”

“I wouldn’t do this or that…”

“the ratings are low or aren’t where they thought it would be…”

That’s the irritating thing. Stop trying to be armchair Booker; accept it and ENJOY it for what it is. :shaq2:

If anyone thinks their momentum is waining, they just overestimated Punk's reaction and return/buzz (or they are just plain trolling).

They are selling a lot of ticket and beating everyone in some importante markets. They have their highest floor they've ever had in terms of TV audience, it seems 1 millón is their "base". It remains to be seen if they can continúe to sell a good number of PPVs.

If anyone thought they were taking the business by storm over Punk and Dragon, I'm sorry but you either don' t understand how the business works (specially in 2021)or are just corcern trolling :manny:

I’m not forcing you to like something. It’s just annoying that people continue to bytchpick regarding their expectations and wishes. :russell:

Last question before I go back to watching ASMR videos....lets say that AEW is a computer that has everything under the sun, but the system keeps locking up, the OS is always doing something odd because of the hardware, and the system overheats like a mofo.

Do I have to enjoy the product because 1 million people buy the system, or can I bytch because I want the product to succeed along with the thousands who actually get frustrated, but don't want to use another computer despite how many people bought it (WWE).?

I'm just wondering because there are people in this exact forum that want the Dub to succeed. but are complaining about the issues at hand. While the Dub is a good product, it could be better for not only the hardcore but for those that actually set foot in the Punk coming to Rampage thread and chuck the peace sign the week later:francis:

Comparing Computers to wrestling? This is a terrible analogy. I’m not even gonna bother answering. :dahell:

You can continue to watch and complain things don’t go the way you want. That’s your life. :hubie:

Fam, you do be coming off as emotional lol.. if people are always saying it, maybe just maybe… hear me out…

If someone has a wrestling take you disagree with, and you start throwing out personal insults to a nikka that ain’t said shyt to you… that don’t seem a lil emotional to you, b?

But let’s get back to the topic, I got no problems with you. Don’t wanna make it a back and forth thing

Do you think the idea that AEW has continued down the trajectory of It’s organic growth, is farfetched?

Like is it crazy for me to think the 1.1 mill they’re hovering around of viewership and the sellout shows (weren’t they selling out already?) were already in their trajectory and would have been achieved with or without Bryan, Punk and Cole?

like is this not where they were once NXT left Wednesdays as is?

I’m either completely overrating where AEW was headed, or severely undervaluing Bryan and Punks impact. You tell me?

I just don’t think the game changed much with these game changing moments. Maybe I’m buggin out, maybe I’m on a spaceship

You’re an OG so you know, that not even the die hard TNA stans back in the day were anywhere near as sensitive as these current AEW marks. :hhh:
