Punk/Danielson didn't accomplish what AEW fans thought they would. AEW quickly came back down to earth. Punk and DB aint them dudes like that. Outside of the yes chants, what is Brian Danielson? And before anybody pull this shyt...i've never been a big Danielson fan. I thought babyface Gargano actually delivered better on the in-ring 5 star matches yall claim Danielson has.

They basically brought these dudes in with zero plan. There is no boost in viewership. after the little debuts people still changing the channel when bums like dark order or lgbQT Marshall come out there.

I think AEW’s trajectory has continued down the same path it’s been on from day one with organic growth, and the game changing signings that “sHooK uP tHe WrEstLiNg wOrld” literally made no difference outside of a small spark of interest that have since come back down to life.

Without Punk and Bryan, they’d still be maintaining the 1 million viewers they’ve been snatching since the day bum ass NXT went back to Tuesday’s or whenever that shyt airs.

Breh I was sad when my Philly brehs let out them struggle "Yes" chants . This is the same man that gave a religious experience when he turned on Bray Wyatt. The thing with Bryan is that the injuries, the leaving and coming back, and even the final moments of his WWE days just did not hit the same compared to the Yes Movement.

Same goes for Punk who honestly soured his legacy and burnt so many bridges, I'm surprised the flames are still not being felt from where I'm at.

Now where do we go from here? That's the question that Khan and em got to answer because the high came down and the grim reality is that wrestling is not the same. From NJPW to WWE, its a niched product that so happens to make money even in these dire times of a dead television market.
