would it be a stretch to say despite AEW’s “huge” acquisitions, their momentum is waning??

I don't see how Danielson has under-delivered. Multiple great matches, great character work in his recent Dark Order/Hangman feud, hasn't flopped on the mic once, has been in back to back world title feuds, undefeated record....

I think it just shows no matter who you get, fans are gonna stay brand loyal, no matter which company they favor....

And Punk finally in a good feud. These ADD mu fukkas want shyt NOW. :mjlol: :snoop:

Everyone’s momentum doesn’t last. Simple as that. Saying Danielson “underdelivered” is the most ridiculous, delusional statement made. Dude has been putting on clinics, even 2 possible classics, and he’s not delivering. :dead:

@Larry Legend stays making dumb ass comments without thinking things through. Unless he’s one of these attention seeking weirdos. :patrice:

people are talking about the TV ratings, not the on-screen performance

Okay well then Danielson has been one of the most over guys WWE has had in the last decade, with high profile world title reigns and feuds. So if a guy like that isn't a "draw" to the TV elsewhere, it just proves that people are brand loyal, and no one wrestler is ever gonna change the ratings drastically.

There is no point in discussing anyone being a flop to ratings now that it's proven to not help.

There is also no denying signing him, and Punk, one of the most wanted returns in all of wrestling, helped draw eyes, even if temporarily. And I don't need to talk about how just having Danielson vastly improves the product. So if momentum is waning, guys like this certainly aren't the cause of that.

He knows that. He just likes crying. Let him work

The same post he’s referring to ends with “Bryan’s putting on clinics, that’s all we can ask for :blessed:

But his eyes were too teary to make it that far. All he saw was criticism

That was kinda the point. We came to that conclusion in the first post

It’s starting to become pretty evident that pro wrestling no longer has singular “draws” and people watch based on brand alone. The days a guy shows up and bumps a rating more than a couple thousand is over.
