This country is so far behind in so many aspects. our public transport system is shyt other than like 3 cities(as someone mentioned). our infrastructure is ass. our health care system is laughable and the prices for our shyt food are insane. the american dream is dead. if i got more specialized or could make what i make working fully remote i'd def be in a diff country already

First of all, most regions of this nation have shytty public transportation
Outside of maybe 10 cities(and I’m being generous) getting around without a car is damn near impossible
Mild weather conditions be damn and even that’s changing
Second, how are you expecting people to have money for Uber/Lyft when the majority of Americans don’t even have $500 in their savings account

Then you factor in health insurance(copays just don’t disappear, you have to pay those and high ass premiums just to even be seen by a doctor)

Even if you are capable of getting a job close to work

Home/Renters/Car Insurance
Even if you just budgeted for necessities, you still getting washed because everything is going up
Car insurance is rocketing because of not only greed but payouts for accidents, home break ins, etc
Gas is never coming back down
Grocery prices are insane

If we keeping it a buck, I'm doing better than most people and have a career field with a lot of upwards mobility.

Went to school for free while working at Walmart 30hrs/wk, got a simple degree, hired after graduation. Now I'm trying to hit $75k-$80k salary this year. That's the short term plan.

So i have accomplishments. All without a silver spoon in my mouth

And honestly if folk was really smart instead of living in their cars they would sell their cars and cop one of those class C RVs and it don’t even have to be brand new… who’s to say you can’t live out of one of these? Nobody thinks outside the fukkin box

We have to be honest breh, It's not just an issue of people and their inability to think outside of the box... If we're being honest, a lot of these people can't afford this type of purchase or the market for RV's in these areas just can't support it.

People also don't think about things like not being able to park overnight in lots,extended parking during the day, height restrictions in parking garages, simply driving something this large....not to mention maintenance and needing other services to make up for what you typically don't get in lower end RV's.

Ideas like this sound good, but they exclude a lot of factors that people typically don't think about because they've become so apart of daily living....or that you're required to have specifics just to make this even a logical decision to make.
