I know some people who are trying to break into software but are having no luck so they've gone back to school to stack their Computer Science degree with an MS Math/Physics degree and still can't get a job. Yet hundreds of thousands of tech bros got into the industry 5 years ago without a single degree and still hold those jobs. Additionally, those who can somehow manage to break into the industry today, degree or not, probably had to fight to do so exponentially more than someone back in 2018.

What happens is so many people pick the low hanging fruit that the low hanging fruit gets more scarce and the competition heats up to get the bare minimum which basically defeats the purpose. We're seeing that right now for the middle class. All those middle class options are basically gone until the next wave of whatever and the same thing will happen to that over time as everyone will rush to get that opportunity.

So when someone says "Psssshhhh I did it no sweat easy. Bootstraps." Yeah, you did it years ago when it was easy. I would've done it too but I wasn't born 10 years earlier. I got no choice to do it now but with significantly less reward per effort. Like they say, everyone is an investment genius during a bull market.

Thats why Gen Z is basically not caring to work anymore. Baby Boomers gotta retire in order for,things to get better.

Basically, there are too many people living in America and the population tripled in just the last 50 years. Even our farmlands are struggling to produce enough food.

foreign aid is not charitable acts. They will pay for it. People with no money who are homeless won't. America is conducting business abroad not charity. Why do people keep thinking this is a valid comparison like they are just gifting money over there nope.

Hypothetically they give trillions in aid to Americans via stimulus and there would be charge back via tax and more inflation of currency. People would complain again... The government wouldn't just take the hit. They not taking the hit on foreign aid.

people who are living in their cars, especially when the cost of rent and cost of living isn't coming down, will often end up in worse circumstances, not better ones. this leads to turning to drugs and other forms of substance abuse to cope with their dire situation, which will eventually lead to a fate even worse than living in their car and have a negative impact on society as a whole.

there are ways to solve the housing issues in this country without just granting it to homeless people. they could invest that money to build respectable and affordable public housing that isn't just the projects, the ROI is not worsening the already horrible homeless crisis we have in the supposed greatest country in the world.

when you're not spending that money properly at home, it looks terrible when you spend it abroad. i don't care if it's a loan instead of a grant or if it's tied aid. this country has its priorities backwards as hell.

I'm almost at the conclusion that a lot of people need their hands held throughout life. Some Communism needs to be thrown in. This current free will system don't work because people lack the knowledge or will power to do anything

-Guidance through highschool and choosing a career
-Guidance through College, Tradeschool, IT, or Military
-Guidance on not flexing and clout chasing spending money on credit cards, expensive cars, or vacations.

Because they printed all that free money they have to stop inflation so interest rates went up loans for real estate get more expensive and less people can afford to live alone.

stimmy checks isnt the reason chinese billionaires are buying up all the real estate and flipping it in america, its a factor of shareholders demanding more returns across the board pushing REITS and dudes like grant cardone to become parasites of human society monopalizing the real estate market. Energy is the primary cause of inflation during the pandemic, and a lack of products being produced in factories causing shortages which then increases prices across the board, PPP loans and stimmy checks are simply a scapegoat of a failed government.
