Twice a week I do 3 sets of Incline Bench, Seated Military Press, Dumbbell Curls, Dumbbell fly on a flat bench, and Skull Crushers for 10-15 reps. I follow that up with100 push-ups. I do 100 elevated/decline push-ups the day after, and I also do three max sets of crunches and reverse crunches 4-5 times a week. I also run roughly 25-35 miles a week.

That's a boss workout.
I don't think I'd run before hitting weights though. I'd tire myself out. I leave the cardio to the end.
I hear yoga is tougher than it looks.

...and it's a good way to meet women.

That's hustling backwards breh, running before you lift? :ld:

I used to do it the other way around but I didn't like the way it felt. I like getting my heart rate up before I lift. It makes my work out feel better and it makes me feel stronger. It's probably the wrong way but it makes me feel stronger. I do 20 minutes on the stair climber at the end of my work out to build legs, but I have pretty stocky legs and good definition from all the running I do and the way my legs are built. I don't really have to do much leg excercises to get them looking right plus they're strong. They're the most defined part of my body. The yoga actually helps the most. Tuesday is strength day in Yoga and the instructor works all the muscles. I'm sweating about half way through yoga on tuesdays. Wednesday is more about stretching and working core. Yoga is actually underrated in terms of working out. I have decent definition. The gut is still the problem but that has more to do with drinking to much.

I can see doing some cardio to get the heart rate up before working out.
In my top years in shape, I'd do like 15-20 minute jog to warm up.
But if I ran several miles, I'd be too tired to do anything with any intensity after that.

Cardio, usually I run on the treadmill or stair climber and then ill work on my legs(squats, leg lifts, lunges) then abs.

I'm going to change it up some and add some aerobics and pilates. I get bored doing the same routine.

I've been running for a long time now. I'm 36, so doing 3 miles of running only takes me about 21 to 24 minutes depending on how i feel that day. Not much more then a 15 to 20 minute jog. It doesn't tire me out like you would think. I'm conditioned to run that now, so I'm not breathing hard or tired at the end of it. I'm actually in the best shape of my life and have more definition then I've ever had. I don't go to the gym to get all yoked out just to have definition. Abs are the only thing I don't have. I have a balance that works for me and I try to keep my routine as much as possible. I do what feels good to me. I'm not a fitness guru, but i've seen more change in my body since I started this routine. That's the one thing I've learned talking to people. Everybody has a thing that works for them. Everybodies body is different and you just have to find what works for you.

That's awesome.
At most I'd run a 7 minute mile when I was younger. I played baseball so any running I did was in short spurts. Never developed a son of endurance.

:dead: mafukkas be like "I just ran a few miles boutta lift some weights" I be like :wtf:

theres no way you can give 100% to lifting weights if you done exhausted some energy running

I don't lift to go roid head monster. I lift for definition. Plus running actually gives me energy and gets me going. A 3 mile run is not much for me. I don't break a good sweat till I hit about 5.

How far is the gym you guys go to?

Would you say that 17-20 mins is a long distance to travel to every week?
