My last name is already hyphenated so my fiance was like "can i only take the last part of it and make it my full last name because if i dont.... ppl will assume i didnt take your name due to the hyphen"

I was like... "damn thats a great point, never thought of that :ohhh:"

Then i told her no :mjlol:

What cultures are these?
Mostly Portuguese but there are others out there. Marry a Brazilian woman and see hat happens to your last name as a man, playboy
I personally know 2 people who married brazilian women. Next time i saw them i was like
Me - "eh...dude..Why/How'd you change your last name?" :what:
Them - "I got married" :sadcam:
Black people always raving about and putting brazilian women on a pedestal. Careful what you wish for :umad:

Funny story that happened recently on this topic. I'm in a group chat and one of my homies (1/2 nigerian breh) married a chick whose dad got bread. So one of the girls is like, "Obi, why didn't she keep her last name?" He responds, "Because she wanted to get married."

I was like :wow: So simple. So succinct. So on point. They're happily married btw.

FOH. I personally know a breh who met his wife in Brazil. They got married and she still took his last name. Not sure what's up with the two people you know.
