Women aren't some weak, innocent victims. They can work and pursue education too. My mom was a teen parent, and my dad wasn't around.

But she owns her own house now. At 54 she's about to go for her phd. She never had any strange men around me and my sister. She took care of herself and us. At the end of the day its survival of the fittest.
