I gotta say in 2000 at first hearing i would say i enjoyed Supreme Clientele more.
But Iron Man has aged better.

Iron Man was the very first Hip-Hop CD i ever bought with the missing inlay of the album for cheap.

both classics but I'm rollin with SC for the edge. Came out when I was in high school :blessed:

on the other hand, if you had to make me choose one to live on an island, I could tell you to flip a coin. This is why I say Ghostface has the greatest discography... this argument is damn near pointless cause both are just :whew:

Had to vote Ironman, high level wu shyt. Supreme is dope but personally think it's overated.
That Ironman CD is always close to hand, I could recite that shyt backwards.

ghosts whole discography is stacked. most consistent member of the clan.
imo he is better than rae because his 2 classic's say "costarring ghostface killah"
where as ghost has SP without a costarring role from rae as well as fishscale.
i think everyone of his albums is at least a 3 out of 5 except bulletproof wallets but it's my understanding that the leaked version had uncleared samples and was better?
i need that if anyone has it

honestly ghosts whole b-side, rarities, unreleased material, etc and collab albums kill the rest of the clan
just look at his collab albums

wu-tang albums obviously
ob4cl 1 and 2
sour soul w/ badbadnotgood
twelve reasons to die with adrian younge
twelve reasons to die brown tape version
36 seasons w/ the revalations
wu-block
wu-massacre
put it on the line w/ trife
718 w theodore unit

imagine if that MF DOOM shyt actually comes out

On the Cappa issue, my theory's always been that his Cuban Linx/Ironman verses are compiled of all the best verses he had prewritten before he got locked & then, when they put him on, he used that ammo up and you saw the swift decline in his lyrics starting on Forever when he had to write up all new shyt.

but even as hard as he fell off, you got to respect those early verses...he'll even drop in on your house party & spit em live:

Cappadona ruined IM, awful rapper
I know a lot of people don't like him, but did you at least like his verse on Winter Warz?

BTW, I don't know how many people here remember this, but back in 02/03, Cappadonna was driving a cab in NY and had an interview on some website where at the end the interviewer asked where people could get a hold of him. Cap literally dropped his cell number. The interviewer said, "Are you sure you wanna out that out there?" And Cap said it was cool.

So about a month later I thought it might be a joke, so I called it and got a voicemail. I didn't leave one, but my phone rang 5 mins later and sure enough it was Cappadonna. He asked why I called and I said I never bother famous people but I didn't know if that interview cell number was a joke but I just wanted to find out. He laughed and said he'd gotten some calls but enjoyed talking with folks. I do remember he said "Just curious, what's your favorite joint of mine?" I remember saying Winter Warz and Ice Water. (I definitely didn't say The Pillage.)

He talked about those verses for about a minute and said that he had to pick someone up tand that he appreciated the phone call. So I just said "I appreciate the music, much success to you!" But yeah. We randomly talked on the phone for 5 mins about 12 years ago.

EDIT:

On the Cappa issue,

but even as hard as he fell off, you got to respect those early verses...he'll even drop in on your house party & spit em live:

Wow. So he's still chopping it up with the fans. He finally dropped a video for Winter Warz too last year.

There's always been a rumor that GZA was also supposed to be on Ice Water but after Cappadonna recorded his verse, GZA was either annoyed, tired, or for some reason didn't wanna be on the song anymore.

:mjcry:
