I agree, Ironman makes you feel like you're a part of it
Would say Ghost himself was at his absolute peak on Supreme Clientele and that album was truly one of a kind. Very slept on far as its impact, the sound of the production was the blueprint (
) for that whole Roc, Kanye, Diplomats sound that dominated 2001-2004, bringing back those big soul samples at a time when beats were getting more computerized and keyboard driven.
But Ironman is a classic too. I know Ghost say he don't think of Ironman as a classic but also that he was in a dark place mentally and dealing with health problems. He still killed that album and the dynamic Rae and Cappadonna brought to the table gave it a ton of personality. The 70s movie vibe was dope. Classic track after classic track on there.

sonically I’d say true for everyone else except Ghost
he said himself he wasn’t there mentally , rushed all those rhymes out and had writer’s block most of the time
but got a lot of support which is why it sounds so good
his rhymes are dark
