The discourse on black community issues is focused on boys; education, single parenthood, institutional racism, workplace racism/glass ceiling, etc...thing are not addressed in both black men and black womnlen in mind but black women as an afterthought. This is why black feminism became to be to fill in the gaps where black women have no voice.

The problem with the sexism in the black community is that it goes unchecked so it festers and is justified. Anything that is said is always excused under racism...no...there are black people that are just bad and need tio be checked for what they do.

They do you don't listen...domestic abuse at the hands of black men is REAL have you read into black feminism what do you know abouy it. Have you heard of eldridge cleaver and what he has written on black women?
One of the few primary roles that females are put on this earth to do is choose competent men (personality wise, financially wise and genetically) to raise their offspring. They arent expected to provide. They arent expected to lead. They arent expected to be tall. They arent expected to have much personality and they have the luxury of being able to easily improve their looks cosmetically unlike guys. Their primary roles are to simply nurture their offspring and find a competent mate to help raise their offspring yet it seems like certain type of women cant even do that. Certain type of women insist on breeding with extremely flawed males and their offspring pay the price as a result of their selfish actions when they are born with an abusive, nonexistant or incompetent father figure
The fact of the matter is black men want black women to suffer in silence at their hands to keep united front, how selfish? Black women face racism at the hands of whites and face sexism at the hands of black men. Thats an attack its a reality and this forum is evidence of that reality.
