When you're on a streak of bad roles, people start expecting them. Add on Will's problem that A TON of people don't like Jayden, so he isn't doing his own career any favors. Any movie together was going to fail no matter what.

Burt Reynolds was a serious actor once too, and worked his way up, only to corner himself into roles that people now remember him for.

I still don't like it don't include me lol. I'm just making the point that the end of that article makes: there are too many options and movies are crazy expensive and people are more interested in characters now rather than stars. The whole "star" thing is irrelevant in a way. The most successful franchise in movies has kept going for 50 years regardless of the guy in the tux. People come out for the character not the guy playing the character

Unless said character happens to be played by Idris Elba :mjpls:

This is a straight fluff article

People acting like Focus is a blockbuster production when it has the lowest budget Wills had since like Seven Pounds(50 million)

Thats nothing, its probably gonna atleast triple that.

Will just needs some cool role like a World War Z or somthing and they'll be back on his dikk

Will is a clown though, Brad Pitt and Leonardo Dicaprio out here with their companies having bidding wars for World War Z and Wolf of Wallstreet

Will out here producing Annie :scust:
I can't see Will getting that cool role anymore. I doubt he gonna be a first choice anymore anyway seeing as how son turned down at least 2 classic movies and roles.

The producers of Hancock knew what they were doing. You think America wants to see Will Smith knock down everyone's new favorite white girl? Hell, just check out the comments in the youtube trailer.

Movie would've made more if it was PG-13......and I dont see why it couldnt have been. There was no nudity if I recall, just cursing and not even a ton of that. Not even much violence either.

he should go back to comedy, hollywood could use some corny 90s humor like Fresh Prince of Bel Aire, better than the its-so-stupid-its-funny and its-so-insensitive-and-offensive-its-funny type of humor that dominates movies and TV today.

:mjcry: ruff.

And I also blame reality television for lowerin da bar for entertainment/celebrity. :trash:

Social media and reality TV done fukked up a lot of money in the big screen. Maybe it is time for new blood, like new directors, and a new generation of actors in their 20s to make groundbreaking new hits. Will Smith, Denzel, Tom Cruise, etc. are getting :old: and people are tired of seeing them over and over again.
