the movie had a 50 million budget and has alreadly mde 30 mill, it will make over 100 mill worldwide adn will have strong dvd sales
johnny depp transcedence 100 million budget only made 103 mill world wide pathetic
Breh you realize when articles like this are written, it's from an american perspective right? No diss to any other part of the country at all but the reason Depp and Will both get this kinda analysis when something like this happened (and johnny has gotten it a lot) is because their american receipts aren't what they used to be even if they're still big international stars.

Well I hope so, because 2014 avengers aside was not the best year imo, 2015 looks to be the same.
Nah man I think 2014 was a great year for movies. I can't speak for box office but as far as movies it was a great year in my opinion

Strictly box office. Quality can be debated. It was a little light in the last 12 months.
Oh ok. Gotta make movies people really wanna see man lol. It ain't about star power. It's about movies. I will always argue that and I've always believed that. But also to be fair, times are changing. Technology, streaming, illegal life, etc. I'm sure the big movies will always be big like the avengers and Star Wars but those are event movies. Other than that everything is a toss up.
