I was there for like three days.
From what I remember there are two downtowns.
The one with the federal buildings was wack.
The other one that had neighborhoods, restaurants and shyt was cool.
Other than that it was a never ending sprawl of strip malls and cul-de-sacs.
I really liked the way the highway infrastructure is adorned with artwork of animals, plants and patterns.
Here out east it's just cement, steal and a coat of green paint so seeing thought put into making the
highways beautiful really stood out to me.
I was there in early spring and the heat/dry combo was brutal.

Outside of the 4 month blazing summers (dry heat), AZ is amazing. Perfect fall, winter, and spring weather, great events, modern homes, great cost of living, slutty females, hella jobs, quick drive to mexico, vegas, mountains, snow, hiking, LA, Saltmine studios, etc.
Sad for those who only were able experience terrible times unfortunately, I cannot relate

Phoenix reminds me of San Antonio except dry heat, xeriscape and mountains.

it's probably lower than where you are but it is rising the fastest in the nation thanks to california refugees. worst thing is the jobs dont pay enough to locals, so our homeless population is rising
getting close to $900 monthly for a safe one bedroom apartment in the outskirts. i had a 2 bedroom for almost $1000/mo near guadalupe (some people are scared of those yacqui indians)
city center in hip areas like @Orbital-Fetus was talking about? forget about that!
you might find a spot for 1 bed in south phoenix for $700 but there are cholos and whatnot. most poeple get a house on the outskirts and commute

They ain't Mexican, they're Philippino.......especially around Orange County. Military wives/kids all up in that area.

Havent been out there in years..that was the Greyhound era...lol. Out there in July but Yuma fukkING SUCKS. Had to be 120...the air was so hot..it was worse than Vegas.
