Kanye has too much strain and the nasal shift in his to be "Country". It's crazy on just on MBDTF how many times he changes his timbre on each song he raps in. Twista does sound somewhat "Country" on half the time I listen to him, but man his enunciation is fukking amazing.

then again i've been around real country people in the south and there is a huge difference

I meant the Obama's still sounding Black, despite labeled with a "White Chicago" dialect. I know that no matter where you are in the U.S., that you're still gonna be Ebonic mostly, and that includes sounding "Country" among other speaking styles, so I agree with you there entirely.

Interesting, Twista sorta sounds "Country" but his Chi accent overall is unique, yet Kanye, Common, Chance, Mick, Bibby, Herbo, Noname, Lupe, etc. all sound completely different from each other. They don't sound Southern (well Mick has those "Bama roots" from time to time, nevertheless that's not a full-on Southern accent either, more like remnants) at all either, so what the hell is causing all those variations?
