And Noxzema is a cleansing product not a lightening product.

My family is from the South and most still live there.

My daddy was dark skin and he loved Noxzema - used it regularly. But, he was in love with his skin completion -- and that is why his ass used it - it was obsession with having clear, soft skin.

They use it for having clear skin - aka no bumps, acne - not lightening. Noxzema - doesn't even have anything in it that can even remotely lighten skin.

So, just know everybody using --- well MOST people using Noxezema ARE NOT using it for lightening. I think they would have to put a label on it and repackage it going forward.

Cause most people do not want to change their complexion -- and would discontinue a product for messing with their skintone. That's a lawsuit waiting for happen for Noxzema.

Its really not that many people (per capita) that's doing this, sure the numbers may look higher in Afrika or the Caribe because the ratios of black people to other races of people is higher than America but, it's not what some people are making it seem to be. There are pockets of insecure people all over the globe and the media is trained to find and spotlight them.

Talk to me when the market approaches maybe 10% of the market that tanning salons have and then we can talk, until then, lets do our part and not put a microscope on these unfortunate people.

BTW, some of these 'skin lightening' products were initially patented for scar removal, but capitalism...
