the rate has nothing to do with it. They are still much more likely to date and marry one another more so than anyone else. Hispanic women could easily cite the same stats that black feminists cite word for word about hispanic men, but they never do. I never see educated Hispanic women pushing the "must marry and date white to elevate our status" narrative that black women parrot to the world. If its out there, it's news to me, but I've never seen it.
Does anyone remember any Hispanic women suggesting that SCOTUS Sonia Sotomeyor needs to marry a white man to get to the Supreme Court like we’ve heard from black women with Kitaji Jackson?
