Usher kicked Keri off that song because he wanted Beyoncé. And she is terrible live.
Keri is corny and thinks she's better than she actually is. She's an a$$hole to her fans and when she first came out she insulted Beyoncé which is stupid. They would have had the same fans but she alienated them. Keri's nasty attitude is well known. Her writing is overstated, most of it comes from the writing team.
Honestly she could have been great because pretty girl rock is a great song but she let Polow gas her up.
It's not exactly a bad thing to be "corny," IMO. Ironically, Bey shows absolutely no personality.
Plus, its beyond obvious that Beyoncé was/is on some Diana Ross, backstabbing behind the scenes, steez. Are we gonna ignore the fact that her hubby enrolls black female talent (i.e. Melanie Fiona), only for the said talent to never be heard from again? How is it that Rihanna can have a botched album release but Bey & Jay projects are sealed with the blood of a baby camel? Bey likes to claim feminism while using men (Matthew & Jay) to do her dirty work and shut down the talents of others.
For the record, writers are encouraged to collaborate b/c collaborations create more content/songs. Therefore, I don't think that's a viable excuse to diminish Keri's accomplishments. Plus, its not like Keri was 1 of 10 song writers, that wrote a song, that repeated 25 words.
Ciara, Amerie, Keyshia cole and Keri suffered all the same fate because they attacked Beyonce
Insulting someone should not be the end of your career. There was a time when Whitney was shading Mariah. Brandy & Monica was beefing for God knows what. And yet, no one's career ended. The older divas (especially Aretha) were way worse in shading. For the record, Beyonce is not above being checked or talked about. She's a damn human just like everyone else!
