Called himself "King of White Girls" and shyt ain't never been the same
It was also rumored he was sleeping with Rihanna.I will just make four points, as you are coming across as a PR person from Bey's camp (no shade).
#1 - It was rumored that Jay Z was screwing Tiarra Marie, so it actually makes sense that Bey would support the competition. Let's keep it real, nobody thought Rihanna had IT accept for Dame.
#2 - Chloe & Halle barely have any buzz.
#3 - How do you define longevity? I've never been the biggest fan of Alicia Keys home wrecking arse, but Alicia has several timeless songs. Beyonce has current songs...but how will that pan out for her legacy?
#4 - In regards to your Ashanti example, I personally feel that a writer with a decent voice should always have a seat at the table. Roberta Flack had a good voice but a great pen and she maintained a nice career. Why can't Ashanti be allowed to do the same? As a matter of fact, the Ashanti downfall actually coincides with the increased fandom of Beyonce. Ashanti was one of the earlier victims of the Beyhive.
She used to answer my messageback in the myspac days.

Chloe and Halle are Indie and doing great there.
Dangerously in love was released almost 15 years ago and Crazy in love, irreplaceable, single ladies, run the world, love on top are played and immediately recognized. She literally changed the way albums are released with her self titled album.
What classic songs does Alicia have? She has good songs but classics.
Ashanti was a victim of murder inc and terrible singing. When her label fell she could never get back to where she was. The Ashanti and Beyoncé comparisons stopped the year Beyoncé performed De Ja Vu at the BET awards and Ashanti also performed and was terrible. She's never been a great performer couple that with giving her biggest hits to JLo. Ashanti's fall came before the Beyhive established itself online. She can do what she likes but if the people don't want it they don't want it.
I get really tired of people saying Beyoncé should sit down and let other artist shine. We don't tell any other artist or profession to do that. Beyoncé's not putting any music out right now all those artist can do so without fear of her. There was a three year gap between self titled and Lemonade and yet none of those artist released. Rihanna has had 8 albums to Beyoncé's 5 yet is never accused of over saturating the market. There were literally not even pictures released of her for months yet none of gen took advantage of it. The woman doesn't give interviews or promote her albums anymore. If these women wanted to be out they would. Let's be honest they just don't have it.
Then why the fukk couldnt Keri pop if shes more talented than both B and Rihanna?. Like I said, Rihanna popped despite Beyonce.
.

Not always about talent. Your team and representatives count more. Rihanna is not a good singer at all, but her management has made her into a power player the same way Taylor Swift's have.
her dumbass was all open about writing for Beyoncé in interviews and shyt instead of being chill about it. Knew she was done and this happened while she was still relevant
This is one of my biggest issues with black female music industry over the last decade is the seemingly lack of collaborations. When you don't collaborate is when you have situations like now where there was that one stretch last year I believe where there wasn't a single black woman on the hot 100 for weeks. Or how there really hasn't been a new black female superstar/star in 7 years (Nicki in 2010) and Nicki's about to be 35, Beyonce's about to be 36 and Rihanna is damn near 30. Where are the young black female 19-24 olds? The music industry is typically a young person's game. Imo opinion Tink should be waayyy bigger than what she is. Did ya'll know she has a song with over 120 million views on youtube? This song wasn't a single, played on radio, promoted or nothing. The song randomly went viral on facebook/ig in 2015 like 2 years after it originally came out. That tells me she definitely has the talent there and is an audience, why she isn't "there" yet is anyone's guess.
Hit Boy is still around, still doing stuff. He did some work on Beyonce's Lemonade album. I think he got a co-production credit for "Sorry" , not sure in what capacity. Melo-X from Brooklyn also made the beat.
Always used to read on the Future Producer's forum back in the day some of the stuff Polow was known for doing. There was a rumor he stole someone's harddrive or something. He brought Hit Boy and ChaseNCashe into the game though and both of them have made some bangers. Can't be mad at ghost production though as long as the kids under you are getting paid and credited. Dudes at that level can't be in the studio making beats all day, plus out there chopping it up tryin to land big placements. it's impossible. I had no idea Detail had ghost producers or was more of a team than a solo producer until the main dude allegedly got beat up by drake's body guards
I'm not saying Beyonce is going around preventing younger artists and other black women from shining. However why is it that in 7+ years there isn't a single black woman that "doesn't have it"? That doesn't make any sense. Tbh Tinashe caught a bit of flack for what she said but she was right in that ya'll (as in he stans) "hive" and "navy" mentality has definitely stifled the growth of black women in music. It was also rumored he was sleeping with Rihanna.

Ask the A&R people. Tinashe is the definition of not having it. Be honest how many international artist are there truly. Lady Gaga fell off and I can't name half the people who perform at these award shows. These artist just aren't memorable. Artist like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kanye, Jay Z, Adele, Bruno Mars even Taylor Swifts mediocre ass is memorable in one way or another. I'm a fifth harmony fan and as much as I want Normani to go solo I know she doesn't have it to be a success on her own.I'm not saying Beyonce is going around preventing younger artists and other black women from shining.
