Tink song is fire, definitely talented. Timbo was giving her mad praise, imo where he fukked up was immediately comparing her to Aaliyah. Why compare her to anyone?

But i agree there is this HUGE void of black female talent on a mainstream level...

H.E.R is currently my favorite female R&B singer..currently on tour with Bryson Tiller, doubt we'll hear anything from her unless she goes the pop route like Weeknd.
Alessia Cara?
Kehlani?
Tinashe?
SZA?
DeJ Loaf?

And I forgot that Halsey is biracial, and was on the biggest song hands down of 2016...

But hands down, none of these females really have the work ethic of a Ty Dolla sign, Future, pnbrock

  • Per my previous statements, Rihanna popped despite Beyonce
  • Dangerously in Love is the only full album that I personally like from Beyonce. Outside of DIL, Bey has few songs that will stand the test of time. Irreplaceable & Love on Top are two of the good songs.
  • Alicia Keys has You Don't Know My Name, Fallen, Unbreakable, Like You'll Never See Me Again, If I Aint Got You, A Woman's Worth, etc. I'm sure that I'm missing plenty more as I was never a huge AK fan.
  • In terms of Ashanti vs Bey, I don't remember either performance so how memorable was it really?
  • I never said Beyonce should sit down. I said that Beyonce & team are clearly doing a lot behind the scenes b/c (outside of Rihanna) the doors of popular black female artistry were closed after her.

Nah you had it all messed up. Rihanna sleeping with jay rumors were much bigger than the T.marie rumors

Crazy in love and single ladies are 2 songs that will be remembered and that's not including all of Destiny Childs shyt (Say my name) Beyoncé been around 20 years. There's no sleeping on that no matter what anybody says cause during the bubblegum era, there were much bigger brands and Beyoncé in today's world is more relevant than all of them with the exception of Justin T. After Beyoncé there was Ciara, Keisha Cole, Rihanna, and a bunch of black women in between. None of them lasted the change music made from 09 and forward. Technically after Beyoncé, there was Alicia, Jill Scott, 3lw, Amerie, Ashanti and Mya cause Destiny child came out in late 97.
