Why isn’t Chet Holmgren getting more hype?

He’s playing in OKC, and his numbers aren’t that crazy.
he's the clear ROTY and a key player for one of the premier young teams in the league lol. folks shouldn't need to be 'talked into' chet or OKC.

meanwhile the NBA can't figure out how to make sure their established stars are actually playing. the solution is to have better flex scheduling and take a note out of the NFL's media playbook - they found a way to market Josh Dobbs with a week's notice and then divest the moment it was convenient.

People in here acting like viewership doesn't dictate how often teams get on TV?

Bigger markets = more people = higher viewership, regardless of the teams skill level, the playoffs and now this in-season tournament usually helps these small market squads gain fans if they do well enough.

Ja had to be a human highlight reel to get Memphis attention like that.

Giannis, has to lose his mind, 50 pieces in the finals, MVP, etc. to get Milwaukee attention.

Jokic had to also win a championship, get mvp's, triple double the entire league, etc

OKC hasn't given us any true feats with this young squad yet to get attention, the kings are kinda in the same boat, tried to pull a Memphis and piggyback off of a rivalry with the warriors to Garner attention, hasn't worked yet.

17/8/2 on 50/40/80 shooting, not even playing 30 min a game??? All while anchoring his entire team's defense averaging 3 blocks a game???? :unimpressed:Y'all literally just say anything on here now, forget boxscore watching, y'all can't even be bothered to do that anymore. :dead:

1. Playing in a small market
2. The NBA lost it's luster a few seasons ago and doesn't move people like it used to.
3. Same rookie year as "The Greatest Prospect Ever"
4. He's a member of ugly gang
The NBA lost its luster based upon what?
