It's simply another persons interpretation of Egyptians
So now you're cherry picking arguments breh. Dudes have pointed out two instances where a character's race was changed..and plenty of guys have pointed out in here the reason it was changed according to the director

it's a yes or no question, why are you shook to answer ?
Okay but the shyt don't make it cool or right bruh. Casting choice is stupid unless they woulda went ahead and cast a black women as Sue Storm. I don't see why they couldn't do that, plenty of black women actresses out there in Hollywood. And, if they are going for this whole diversity and "change" in Hollywood then having an inter-racial relationship between Reed and Sue woulda furthered their case. But nah, they cast Jordan as the human torch and the rest of the FF4 is white. So they changed up the whole mythology and history of the characters for stunt casting basically.

White actors were playing Ridley's interpretation of Egyptians
Not sure why it's difficult to comprehend
Breh it's potentially making one thing about the mythology altered but it's not making it so that it's not completely foreign to anyone that they wouldn't understand how these two people can still be brother and sister. It's not saying "yup, he's black and she's white, and now they're just friends" Or, "he's black, she's white, and they're dating, now while Reed is the friend" They're still related, their last names are still Storm and they still have a history together as brother and sister. And again, the man is friends with Jordan and loves him as an actor and felt from day one he'd be the best man for the job, shyt isn't stunt casting. Anytime a race is changed in a movie it's supposedly stunt casting as opposed to the director truly feeling this was the best choice for the story he wanted to tell and that's bs
I am an advocate for Jordan. I think he's a fantastic actor that should have been nominated for Fruitvale station and the fact that he is so cool with the director makes the casting choice of Sue Storm EVEN more strange to me. If Trenk is such a fan of Jordan and he's pretty much ride or die then go ahead and cast a black woman as Sue Storm and maintain that comic mythology (Lets not even get started on the whole Doom as a hacker stuff they throwing in this movie too, we'll see how that goes). One of the mainstays of the FF4 mythology is them being Blood siblings. Right now we are going off the fact that they will be adopted, as that been confirmed? Because I've also heard that they might be making Sue and Johnny actually married in this incarnation and having Reed be the outside man looking in.
Again, I am for Michael B. Jordan in this role I think he's probably going to be the best thing about this movie but it woulda been great if they dove all the way in and cast a black woman for Sue Storm IMO.
white actors were playing scott's interpretation of an entire ethic group
so if a director said his interpretation of martin luther king was an asian man and cast'd an Asian man that would be okay ?
If it works, why not? this is simply another persons interpretation
And we're back full circle
white man's interpretation of a fictional comic book universe
white man's interpretation of a real life ethnic group, if done wrong would offend possibly 82.2 million people around the world
are you seriously not seeing a difference here?
you think any credible actor would be on board with a movie scott calls, "my interpretation of an ethnic group"
you are legit retarded
Haven't heard anything about them being married but I also don't pay attention to rumors like that to be honest. All I've heard from Trank, is that he wanted to show a racially diverse family because that's what he comes from. And since they're basing a lot of this on ultimate FF, my assumption is that Reed and Sue are still the couple but he hasn't talked about else about it but he's only done one interview about the movie so I'm sure it's coming.
And like I said breh it's altering mythology but not completely changing it. Franklin Storm is in the movie, he's the guy giving the narration and they show one shot of him. He's a black man so I'm just putting the pieces together and making the assumption that she's either adopted, or a step sister. What's important is that they're siblings, not just blood siblings. The brother sister dynamic is what's important, not that they have the same mom. They can still look out for each other, still have sibling rivalry, still have the exact same relationship without having to have the same DNA. If they've grown up together, called the same guy dad and shared experiences together, doesn't change anything in my mind. Hell, you can have blood siblings and not be that close to them and feel closer to people who aren't related to you at all, that's life.
