I agree with you in the sense that at this point in my life I'd rather listen to Rick Ross than 50 but I don't see why you're attempting to quantify preference. You're using the 9 Top 40 features thing to attempt to prove that Ross was "the more coveted feature artist" but how are you a more coveted feature than a guy who's a much bigger star than you? The point of a feature is to maximise the overlap between your respective audiences and Ross never had as many people checking for his music or have as many eyes on him as 50, ever. Your numbers lack context, are you arguing that Ross was the reason those songs got hot? Are you arguing that a feature from Ross during his prime did more for your career at that time than a feature from the #1 guy? Are we going to act like 50 Cent wasn't beefing with/shytting on damn near every relevant rapper during his run which obviously would affect the songs they're featured on? Beyond that:

• How many songs were they featured on?
• Where did those songs chart?
• Who were the main artists?
• Who were the other featured artists (if any)?

Context is key. You're essentially giving Ross a nod for being a better networker when all you could have said is that you enjoy Ross' music more. On top of that if we want to keep playing with numbers Ross was involved in 22 projects to 50's 13 so you could flip that and say 50 did a whole lot more with a lot less work. I get your point but the whole middle section of that post is some "Curry may have more MVPs and rings but Westbrook has more rebounds" level shyt.

You can make the argument that 50 did more with less, I think that is more than allowable. I guess my underlying point is that the quality of Ross' music, album for album in both of their prime, Ross quality was so much better...
