HE WAS A GOOD 3P SHOOTER.
HE TOOK A ALOT OF TOUGH/DUMB HERO BALL SHOTS.
YOU WOULDNT DARE SAG OFF OF HIM
AND GIVE HIM AN OPEN THREE
LIKE SOME OTHER NBA STARS.
Came in to post this, there was never a game plan to sag off Kobe from the permiter
Try actually watching ballI keep hearing, "he was a good 3 point shooter, he stats just don't reflect it" Well, how do we know if someone is a good 3 point shooter besides looking at their stats? Ya'll nikka judging by their shooting form or some shyt?
Yawn. If you think Kobe cared about stats you likely don’t know shyt about basketballat one of the biggest ball hog gunners in nba history being removed from “stat-padding”. The same guy who took 50 shots in his last game just to get 60.
Kobe’s 3ball is overrated for the same reason that every other aspect of his game is overrated. He has a legion of delusional homosexual fans dedicated to making him better than he actually was.

I think it's strictly because he's a better 3-pointer shooter compared to MJ.Year Team GP GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% RPG APG SPG BPG PPG

No one says MJ is an elite three point shooter though
What the fukk does this mean? We just adding attributes and skills to players based off dumb assumptions? You not arguing for the real Kobe but some mythical version of him that you created in your head
Paul Pierce and Ray Allen put up great numbers from 3, in volume and efficiency, in the same era that Kobe was below average so why we acting like there weren't efficient shooters from 3 with versatile offensive skill sets?
nikkas act like shot selection and shot IQ just account for nothing when talking about shooting ability and impact.
As someone stated the average for 3pt shooting was much lower in Kobe’s prime. I hate you nikkas. His post Achilles injury also lowered his percentage.
All this just because lebron is a .344 shooter from 3 point
To put things into perspective Ray Allen only shot 37% percent for his career. Kobe faced way harsher double/triple teams his entire career. And again those last three post Achilles years lowered his percentage.
his point was that while kobe could be a good shooter from beyond the arc, sometimes he would just throw up shots because either
1. his team was trailing
2. he took shots when he was being doubleteamed, trippleteamed
3. he was willing to take shots nobody else was willing to take
bottom line is he didn't play like a bytch who puts his stats before his team
