If he didn't care about percentages, he would have been slinging up full court shots at the end of every quarter.
Kobe got a lot of open threes in transition and off screens. He got a lot of threes in isos against single coverage. Occasionally he got an extra defender or two to come over when it was at the end of the shot or game clock and he was trapped but those weren't the norm.
He probably took more defended threes than most players but we are talking about a single defender, not two or three. You clowns just try to exaggerate for extra effect. Plays like the one in my avi really only happened at the end of games when everyone in the arena knew Kobe was going to try to be a hero. If you take all of the desperation shots out of the equation, maybe he's 33.0% instead of 32.9%. He did make some of those stupid shots so they didn't really affect his percentage much, if at all.
