Shaq was an excellent free throw shooter, his percentage was just bad cause he didn't give a fukk about percentages
There's a reason why hack-a-shaq existed

Teams wanted him to go to the free throw line cuz they knew he couldn't shoot

There's a reason why teams basically doubled teamed Kobe at the three point line when he was hot. Yall act like Kobe is Lonzo who I would definitely sag off it if I was playing defense.

So your dumb ass logic doesn't even make sense.

Shot selection is part of being a shooter. Kobe shot 44% for his career and 33% from 3 :comeon:

Brett Fabre was one of the GOAT 90s Quarterbacks and he threw interceptions out the ass. Kobe was from the same school as him. Players like them made boneheaded decisions at times because 8/10 they could make it work.

when Kobe played the average 3 point percentage in the NBA hovered between 34-36%. So he was slightly below average....MJ was at 32% who gives a shyt. If Kobe was born in 95 and played today he'd be a better 3 point shooter.

No one says MJ is an elite three point shooter though :russ:

What the fukk does this mean? We just adding attributes and skills to players based off dumb assumptions? You not arguing for the real Kobe but some mythical version of him that you created in your head :mjlol:

Paul Pierce and Ray Allen put up great numbers from 3, in volume and efficiency, in the same era that Kobe was below average so why we acting like there weren't efficient shooters from 3 with versatile offensive skill sets? :mjlol:

nikkas act like shot selection and shot IQ just account for nothing when talking about shooting ability and impact.

Teams double Curry, Durant, and plenty of elite scorers when they get hot from 3. I still see them cats being efficient as fukk :jbhmm:

his point was that while kobe could be a good shooter from beyond the arc, sometimes he would just throw up shots because either

1. his team was trailing
2. he took shots when he was being doubleteamed, trippleteamed
3. he was willing to take shots nobody else was willing to take

bottom line is he didn't play like a bytch who puts his stats before his team
You just went full retard :gucci:

I keep hearing, "he was a good 3 point shooter, he stats just don't reflect it" Well, how do we know if someone is a good 3 point shooter besides looking at their stats? Ya'll nikka judging by their shooting form or some shyt?
It's Kobe stans breh. They probably looked at the way the sun caught the sweat glistening off his brow as he released and determined that besides MJ nobody has had a more aesthetically pleasing 3 pt shot
