1. He isn't a threat, he is domesticated by Kim.
2. Lo-Lifes made it popular in the hood to wear that ish though. You seen it nowhere until those brothers were rocking it.
3. I agree but Kayne is trying to merge and get into business with those who have their brands in high profit. They see that riding their backs to get where they are at.
4. Black People can create their own lane, once they realize their fashion, is the reason people are buying clothes. They wouldn't have to go to some Elitist White Boy who thinks he shyts golden bricks.
I'll be honest. I personally think it was black people who made brands like Polo, Tommy Hillfiger, and Nautica hot. I never fukked with any of those brands until I bought Only Built 4 Cuban Linx in high school.
He kind of is riding coattails, but I don't know if it's him seeking to work with those brands or those brands looking to work with him. I assume Adidas is happy they have him on board cause right now, him and Pharell are their cash cows. They have Raf Simons, Alexander Wang, Yohji Yahamoto, Jeremy Scott and the three former head Nike designers on their staff.
I'm seeing this trend of black people rocking (dare I say it) white fashion. Skate clothes, vans, Nirvana t-shirts, metallica t-shirts, I just think it's a testament to how black people make anything cool. It's almost like back in the day how Ecko, G-Unit, and all them urban brands were mostly worn by white people. Or how white people will rock jordans and stuff. I've even seen random white hipsters rocking doo rags.
