Why hasn’t the south created any fashion trends that the rest of us black folks can enjoy?

Southern Brehs in Charlotte still wearing baggy jeans and doo rags. Like damn we still in 2005. Nah, but a lot of southern people can’t dress for shyt. They really are behind on trends depending on what southern city you live in.

:dead: and those dudes deadazz be proud of that, too.

Who wears Tommy Hillfiger cause of snoop.

NYC in the crack era made him popular.
The 80s crack era had little impact because it was over when Tommy became popular are was even known in the 90s

2.Arsenio Hall reached millions of Black people and rivals David Letterman in ratings. Snoop was the most anticipated debut artist of his time and arguably in Rap history

The revisionism is crazy

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
This is why I love girls in the south like @CarmelBarbie.

I tell NY brehs all the time if you want to get the full scope of southern dudes swag just speak to their women.

Southern women clown them more than NY dudes do.

i wasn’t even aware Charlotte dudes still rocked baggy. I was there 3 years ago but I mostly saw ppl wearing shorts since it was summer lol

Thread title says trends. The OP is trends/brands.

The point is a garment means nothing until individuals make it relevant as part of their style.

Those Cali brands aren't made hot by Cali. Street dudes in Cali don't influence style. They're probably the worst dressed in hip hop.

The south takes NY style and makes it tacky.
what recent trend has NY made?

what are street dudes in Cali wearing?

Lol Naw it's not nikkas wear that shyt every day like brehs on here think. Most la nikkas wear tracks suits and street wear shyt.
So LA and bay brehs dont dress that much different than :yeshrug:

Say did LA brehs ever hop on these cuts like the rest of Cali than ?

Middle states arent fashion meccas. At all. Even the people that live there typically are basic in comparison to NY

What? You can't even get your ears right. Crack era was the 80s. Dapper Dan fear, gazelle frames( everyone had them not just deale) Kanol hats.

Tommy and Snoop was 90s totally different phase

Neither can you. Nobody on earth says “snoop inspired me to wear hilfiger”

Not a single soul.

I notice you keep leaving the point of discussion and focusing on fashion projects.

Not sure if you trolling or not
