There was a big outrage at the idea that only 1000 ps4 games would be backwards compatible on the ps5 or if there was even any backwards compatibility at all. Many were ready to riot as microsoft had games all the way back to the xbox. It’s obvious this was an important piece of the puzzle, and now not only do we have BC but people are actually complaining when games aren’t being upgraded to support the new consoles features (better framerates, DS, resolution, etc) which is essentially what a remaster is.
‘So why is it that nintendo can get away with not only nixing the idea of backwards compatibility but reselling the same games from last gen at full price with no discernible upgrades? Not only that but they completely killed the virtual console (games people already paid for) and are now reselling those same games on the eshop. They are charging full price for 3d all stars and taking it down DIGITALLY in march.
It’s like they do the most anti-consumerish shyt that microsoft and sony could never in a million years get away with and people dont even care. It’s like they treat Nintendo as the handicapped little brother, when in reality he’s running laps around his two big bro’s lol and the parents still coddle him
