Why does it feel like Jonathan Kuminga is still being slept on?

His offball defense is lacking and his jumpshot isn't there. For a team with championship aspirations he isn't it.

Doesn't pass the ball like Dray, and doesn't have the same defensive IQ. His PT was gonna suffer regardless imo.

That's why he needs to leave. Warriors are in win now mode as they should be. Their unwillingness to sacrifice any of that for Kuminga's development is gonna hurt him. It's just the wrong team for him.

They better dust him off and give him some minutes against the Lakers who are going to keep throwing their weight around and out muscling them

@Gil Scott-Heroin has been taking L after L after L

-Says Harden is fooling the public and then he drops 45 and the GW
-Embiid wins MVP
-Curry gets locked up by Vanderbilt
-Draymond gets in foul trouble trying to guard Bron/AD
-Warriors lose
-Says Kuminga is being slept on but he can't even get on the court
-Finally shyts on a Euro but it's a black one so he doesn't beat the hate black men allegations

this is all within the past 3 days btw

:damn:

Are Warriors fans keeping the faith with Kuminga’s development?

I suppose they knew he was a project coming into the league. And on a per minute basis he seems to perform well.

But he’s not getting a lot of minutes in these playoffs and I just wonder what fans think about it.

I know it’s only Year 2. I just wanted to ask.

Not a warriors guy so I don't know the comments behind the scenes behind what the coaches are saying but it seems to me that they want Kuminga to be able to play the draymond role but he can't, or doesn't. So when he's on the floor it stifles their offense because he's instead playing the wiggins/iguodala role when they already have enough guys who can do that.

Still, I see no reason why he shouldn't be playing over divencenzio who does nothing for this team IMO.

If I'm Kuminga, I'm leaving as soon as GS lose. We all seen him have success in the playoffs last year. He can hustle, rebound, play D, shoot, score, & run the floor with the best of them. He got to be feeling a way

Wiseman's bum ass fukked it up for him.

Warriors wasted time and resources trying to bring Wiseman along it was a futile exercise, that's why they haven't been extending the same luxury to the other youngsters. Moody's only getting minutes because he's proving to be of value as a role player and Kuminga hasn't (well, not in the opportunities he's had). Hopefully, whatever happens this season they can work to a better plan to bringing him along next season.

The talent is there but the feel for the game isn't and the Warriors are all about feel for the game.

His feel for the game is one of his strengths (whenever he's played with the starters he fits in seamlessly because he's on the same wavelength).

He just feels like he's better than have a role player type of role (whereas no role is too small for Moody), which to be fair to him he isn't entirely wrong. But his offensive game is still raw (his shooting is a work in progress) and can be overaggressive or miss his rotations on defense at times. Both parties are in between a rock in a hard place. I think he does need to be playing minutes in some capacity, but I understand why he isn't getting them.

The whole two timelines bullshyt that the organization forced on the team is the real issue here.

You sound silly. You talking like he a liability. They have that white boi out there not doing shyt on offense or defense being str8 traffic cone on both ends. Kuminga definitely deserves minutes over him.

How the fukk could you possibly take that away from my post? Do you not see I made this thread?

You talking about Donte?

Donte plays the role of a guard; Kuminga can't be that for them.

Besides, Donte was one of their best regular season performers, is a vet and plays his role. He certainly hasn't been consistent throughout the postseason (mainly on offense) but in the mind of the coaching staff, he's earned his spot. Kuminga's competing for minutes with Moody, Wiggins and the frontcourt.
