It's slowly coming together for him. He just makes winning plays all over the floor.
They're gonna need this if they hope to make any sort of a transition once Steph, Klay and Dray hang it up.

Difference is, I'm not calling Kuminga the next MJ/Kobe, like Jalen stans are doing with their mans.
I don't deny that Kuminga has had his struggles, but he's not given free reign to do whatever he wants. He's been kept on a short leash given the Warriors situation, and his touches and minutes vary from game to game to where it's hard for him to develop any consistency. It's partly the reason why he may never realize his potential on this team.

Because they were prioritizing Wiseman's development at the start of the season. They couldn't afford to give Wiseman, Moody and him minutes when they were trying to win.
It's not the most ideal situation for a young guy to develop.
He's really only coming into his own recently because of Wiggins' injury. If it wasn't for that, his minutes/role would be even more limited.
Like I said defensively Minga is an animal.. He showed that shyt on full display last night

I am not comparing the two. I'm comparing the idea of upping a thread every 2-3 weeks when signs of life are shown.
His offball defense is lacking and his jumpshot isn't there. For a team with championship aspirations he isn't it.
Doesn't pass the ball like Dray, and doesn't have the same defensive IQ. His PT was gonna suffer regardless imo.
Both Kuminga and GS are in a tough spot. They can't really afford for him to play through his mistakes, and his offensive game is still raw. I'd like to see him get some more minutes but he's gotta show that he's willing to take on a limited role. I feel like he believes he should be starting by now.
