When I'm cooking poultry or bbq'ing I focus on washing my hands and the prep area. I wash my hands sooo many times that the backside of my palms often get raw.
I use those disinfecting wipes on the seasoning containers I use and I focus on cleaning my prep area.
To me, that lime, vinegar, and salt is a "quick brine" but does not "clean" the chicken.
