i'm not worried about anything on the chicken, that burning the shyt out of it in a pan isn't gonna get rid of. and from google, this doesn't sound like something you have to worry about, buying chicken in america

it's never occurred to me to run my chicken under some tap water, like that makes some kind of difference :dead:

USDA research has found that washing or rinsing meat or poultry increases the risk for cross-contamination in the kitchen, which can cause foodborne illness. From a food safety perspective, washing raw poultry, beef, pork, lamb or veal before cooking it is not recommended as the safest method.

Get this cac shyt the fukk outta here.

If you not cleaning/washing any/every thing you cook, you nasty.
I've seen yts on FB have HARDCORE ARGUMENTS against Black folk regarding washing chicken on some "when it reaches a certain tempartrure in the oven, it's killing germs anyway, so you don't need to wash it!"

So we just gonna ignore the science that says otherwise?

"Salmonella, Campylobacter and other harmful bacteria live on raw chicken. Washing or rinsing doesn't remove this risk, it worsens it by helping the bacteria spread. When you add water through washing or rinsing, you give these bacteria a way to travel throughout your kitchen."

I understand rinsing off that layer of goo that comes with chicken but there is no "cleaning" chicken.:mjlol:

All store bought chicken has salmonella and no amount of "cleaning" will get rid of it and you're more likely to spread salmonella in your kitchen fukking around thinking you're cleaning it with fukking limes and vinegar.

Focus on cooking your chicken to 165 degrees and thoroughly cleaning your food prep area.

If you are cooking the meat properly then you do not need to "wash" it. All you are doing is spreading bacteria around. What is your favorite dish soap seasoning when you wash, Ajax Orange or Dawn Lemon?
...and to that I say
You don't clean and wipe down your counter with bleach after cooking?
