i'm not worried about anything on the chicken, that burning the shyt out of it in a pan isn't gonna get rid of. and from google, this doesn't sound like something you have to worry about, buying chicken in america

it's never occurred to me to run my chicken under some tap water, like that makes some kind of difference :dead:

USDA research has found that washing or rinsing meat or poultry increases the risk for cross-contamination in the kitchen, which can cause foodborne illness. From a food safety perspective, washing raw poultry, beef, pork, lamb or veal before cooking it is not recommended as the safest method.
Bro stop I get that you are speaking facts but yo white ass is not helping in this thread by having this stance :mjlol:

Shut yo goofy ass up

Explain how doing THIS will get salmonella “all over the counters”

:mjlol:

In her own video she says "cleaning" chicken will not rid it of bacteria:

TO BE CRYSTAL CLEAR Cleaning chicken DOES NOT rid it of the Salmonella bacteria which can cause a foodborne illness. It simply helps to remove the membrane from under the skin and any feathers that may be still attached. Always cook chicken to an INTERNAL TEMPERATURE of 165 degrees F to avoid foodborne illness.

She even responds to a commenter asking if she has to clean the counters and sinks:

@motherhoodsbeauty9279 Hi Delena, it’s to disinfect the sink and kitchen countertops. Disinfecting the kitchen should happen whether there’s chicken around or not. I wrote a blog post summarizing my feelings on it. Here’s the link https://www.gdseasoning.com/post/how-i-clean-chicken-cooking-with-carolyn-requested

Niccas ain’t doing it to wash off bacteria dumbass :snoop:

You definitely a white boy
You posted a video asking "Explain how doing THIS will get salmonella “all over the counters”" showing someone splashing water all over while "washing" chicken. Doing that spreads that mixture all over the sink and around it. Also, using lemon, lime or vinegar DOES NOT KILL BACTERIA OR PREVENTS IT FROM SPREADING, so if that is not the reason you are doing it you are still spreading salmonella around.

Washing, rinsing, or brining meat and poultry in salt water, vinegar or lemon juice does not destroy bacteria. If there is anything on your raw poultry that you want to remove, pat the area with a damp paper towel and immediately wash your hands.

:mjlol: @BrothaZay he doesn't get what you mean. @num123 I'll give you a hint it has nothing to do with whether it kills bacteria or not...
