All I see is people getting emotional and dodging the question I've been asking for 2 pages now.

Fred.

in my opinion yes top gear and inbetweeners are better than some of the shows you listed.

but as i said you fail to see the point, the point is why take something classic and make it worse.

if thats the case why do people say inbetweeners uk >>> usa version

and they also say including american critics uk office >>>> usa office humor wise. :whew:
that is clearly the most impossible thing ever. The Office has 9 seasons in the US, there's absolutely no way there isnt 15 episodes that are classic in 9 seasons. So Office UK being better is impossible :whew:

All British people hang from the nutsac off everything American..from our movies to music to pop culure

You'd be surprised if you ever visited here.

Lol@freds tv watching criteria being the opposite of his music listening criteria.

The uk office is a modern classic, I like the us version, but it doesn't come close.

I'm surprised the us never remade only fools and horses.

Watching 15 classic episodes over a ten year period doesn't make it a better show anyway.

Quality>quantity

Not a minute was wasted in the original office.

"i think there's been a rape up there" is a top 5 moment in any comedy show of all time.

But yeah, yanks gonna yank...

The American networks are working money, I'm sure NBC has made a ton of money off The Office. Plus in that particular case, the U.K. version of the show only had like 6 or 7 episodes, the American one is lasting 9 seasons. If you're a network exec who's job is to make money, which would you rather do?

Shows are on TV for 30 years in the UK with only 56 episodes. :wtf:

People asking me why I'm not checking for those shows is like asking why I ain't checking for Kardinal Offishall. And then Canadians getting mad like "but he's just as good as Nas and Jay-Z!".

How about some unbiased opinions? It's obvious people are bigging up these random ass shows because it's from their area. I've yet to see anyone outside of the region these shows originated from co-sign anything about them.

drugs are sold everywhere in the world dummy, why could you not remake the wire anywhere?

"The Wire" ain't about drugs dummy, it's about the city of Baltimore....every aspect of it, from the drug dealers all the way up to the mayor. So no, you couldn't make a foreign version of it, it's not like making a U.S. version of "The Office".

The same goes for the other shyt you said, too. :childplease: at "The Sopranos" in the UK just because it's closer to Italy. You can't be serious.

yeah, i was gonna say "there's an american version of 'the it crowd'"? i'm glad it never made it to air. and i hope to god they never decide to do remakes of david mitchell and robert webb's stuff like peep show or mitchell and webb look...

If they do an American version of Peep Show, it would be the worst thing ever :wow:

SuperHanz and Jez would be ruined :damn:
