Why do U.S remake CLASSIC English TV shows?

English shoes usually have 6 shows a season (I think), America has 24, but the American office has got teams of writers, where as the English office was created, casted, directed and written by only gervais and merchant.

Only fools and horses was on for 30 years and was written solely by John Sullivan, I think porridge (another british classic) was written by the main character ronnie barker.

It's crazy these shoes ate written by one or two people only, even if they are alot shorter, I still think its more impressive.

America have made the better drama shows, but Britain>America when it comes to comedy.

I liked top boy and Sherlock Holmes from Britain.

But it's all opinion anyway.

People asking me why I'm not checking for those shows is like asking why I ain't checking for Kardinal Offishall. And then Canadians getting mad like "but he's just as good as Nas and Jay-Z!".

How about some unbiased opinions? It's obvious people are bigging up these random ass shows because it's from their area. I've yet to see anyone outside of the region these shows originated from co-sign anything about them.

I dont even watch much tv...nor do I actually have cable nowadays (dont really need with internet )

but most of those shows are real dope. british ppl know how to make fresh shows.

well considering they collate multiply reviews and then create an average of usually over 30 reviews... yeah kindda.
