So you watch the same great tv shows that everyone else does?

Oh yeah, you're TV game is deep, breh.

Yes I do watch the same great shows everyone does....as opposed to that supposed list of "great" shows most people haven't heard of outside of their respective regions.

Brehs, you need to set your emotions and misplaced regional loyalty aside and answer my question.

Do you have an equivalent to "The Wire"? It's a simple question. I'm betting you don't, because it's widely seen as the GOAT TV show.

And if the answer is "no", and I watch "The Wire", then why would I check for your shows? It's not rocket science. Why check for shows that are inferior to the ones I currently watch?

but all those shows u listed are garbage except for TOP GEAR which one of the GOATS

Finally a voice of reason. If any of those shows are on the same level as "The Wire", "Breaking Bad", "The Sopranos", etc. I will check them out.

So far people keep dodging the question. :manny:

They are on some obscure shyt compared to a global phenomenon like "Lost".

Fred.

The reason 'Lost' is a global phenomenon is overwhelmingly because of America's cultural influence...quality is a distant secondary concern.

Dude made a thread acting like U.S. needs to remake foreign TV shows....no, we remake that shyt because they're easy to remake and takes very little effort. It has nothing to do with their quality.

You're right, its not as if American execs are watching British TV and just remaking whatever is successful... :mindblown:

Old 'I only watch American shyt, aren't I so brilliant?' ass motherfukker. No, no you are not, you are simply depriving yourself of good TV due to ignorance and parochialism. :leostare:

Every post you've made in this thread is, "I watch popular mainstream American shows, you watch popular British shows, but because my shows are more well-known, they're automatically better and my taste in TV is better."

Think about how stupid that sounds.

 ...how the fukk can you say one set of programmes that you have never even fukking watched are not 'on the same level' of other programmes that you have watched...?

Your argument really is on a special level of retardation. :heh:

Exactly. No intelligent human being could think such a argument worth while or rational.

You can keep the "good TV". A lot of shows are good. And success has nothing to do with it. They remade "The Inbetweeners" and that shyt barely averages 1 million viewers.

And :stopitslime: at all that pro-American shyt you said about me. I'm one of the most well versed cats on this forum when it comes to foreign cinema. You know why? Because there is a lot of other areas like France, Japan, Korea, etc. that can go toe-to-toe with us.

For the last time, are any of your shows better than the shows I currently watch? If the answer is "no", then why the fukk would I watch them?
